I bought my X7 at Avid. They have a lifetime warranty on all markers bought in store. Check it:

Warranty Covers:
-Cleaning/Maintenance
-Orings
-Manufacture Defects
-Shipping to Manufacturer

Warranty Does not Cover:
-Falls
-Stripped Screws
-Lost Parts
-Custom Work

Warranty can be voided:
-Anodizing
-Custom Work
-You taking it apart
